Our Story
From Personal Healing to Pet Nutrition Innovation
CNP Pet Nutrition began in 2016 as a small, care-led solutions company built on one simple principle: put the wellbeing of pets and their people first.
Founded by Megan Bayne, CNP grew through both her studies and personal research, as she discovered the powerful role food and holistic care can play in supporting long-term health. This journey ultimately led to remission in her personal health journey and a lifelong commitment to the philosophy of food as medicine.
That philosophy became even more personal when her childhood dog, Domino, was diagnosed with epilepsy and given a limited prognosis. When conventional treatments fell short, a shift toward holistic nutrition and natural care extended Domino’s life by three meaningful years and solidified her mission: to create better outcomes through better nutrition.
What began as a personal pursuit evolved into CNP Pet Nutrition, a company dedicated to developing scientifically grounded, purpose-led pet nutrition solutions that genuinely improve quality of life.
Built to Serve Pets, People & Purpose
Over the past decade, CNP has grown into a specialist consultancy and product-development firm working across three core areas:

• Pet Retail Solutions for consumer-facing products
• Technical, nutritional and regulatory support for the wider pet industry
Today, we are a small but award-winning team, agile, deadline-driven, and deeply committed to innovation in pet care. We partner with like-minded brands to develop safe, functional and commercially viable products that meet both regulatory requirements and real-world wellness needs.
We also believe impact extends beyond formulation. We donate a percentage of our profits throughout the year to animal welfare organisations and Won Life’s Sponsor a Child initiative, ensuring that every step forward contributes to a better life for animals and children beyond our immediate work.
